Cable Carruth put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Carruth and Bloomfield will take on Albuquerque Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Chargers thanks in part to Carruth: he went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
