Given Clarendon's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Cyclones are ranked 1309th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Memphis struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Clarendon is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Memphis, they dropped their record down to 8-14 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
