Silsbee barely beat Lumberton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Raiders on Tuesday. The win (which was Silsbee's third in a row) raised their record to 18-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lumberton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Silsbee will head out to challenge Kelly Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.09 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
