The Keith Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Notasulga Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keith knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 20 games -- so hopefully Notasulga likes a good challenge.
Keith pushed their score all the way to 72 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 73-72 to Hatch.
Despite the loss, Keith got a solid performance out of Tommy Tisdale III, who scored 39 points. Tisdale III hasn't dropped below 24 points for seven straight games. Miles Hannah was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Notasulga waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 61-53 victory over Maplesville.
Keith's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-10. As for Notasulga, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
