On Monday, Sugar Creek didn't have too much trouble with Varsity Opponent on the road as they won 56-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sugar Creek.
Aidan Gatewood continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with four steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Ajaylon Ingram- Moore was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds.
The win got Sugar Creek back to even at 4-4. As for Varsity Opponent, they bumped their record down to 129-466-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Sugar Creek will head out on the road to face off against Charlotte Lab School at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Charlotte Lab School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 last Wednesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenwood Mennonite at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
