It's playoff time, and Southeastern HomeSchool had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars 59-34 on Friday. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Blake Batts, who went 12-for-15 on his way to 34 points and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023. Max Brutus was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Southeastern HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 15 consecutive contests.

Southeastern HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for South Guilford HomeSchool and nudges their season record down to 24-16.

Southeastern HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-50 loss against Greater Cabarrus S on the 1st. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they have also already played their next contest, a 46-42 defeat against Frederick W on the 5th.
