North Providence typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Davies Career & Tech proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 56-40 victory over the North Providence Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

North Providence's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elyse Brassard, who posted six points along with 12 boards and seven blocks. Those seven blocks gave Brassard a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makenna Heon, who put up five points and six steals.

Davies Career & Tech now has a winning record of 9-8. As for North Providence, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.
