Heartland II Top Player Performances of the Week

Evan Woodward and Co. Win 13th in a Row
  Evan Woodward was instrumental in extending Troy's winning streak to 13 on Friday. Woodward made three total tackles, good enough to  also set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 Troy pushed their record up to 13-0 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  at home. Woodward and Troy will stay at home for another  week and welcome Bedford at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

A Season-Best  Effort from  Brendan Gilliland Leads Troy over Warrior Run
  Brendan Gilliland produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Troy to the win  on Friday. Gilliland rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 This season,  Gilliland  has run in 21 touchdowns while averaging 87.2 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 46.77  rushing yards per game.

Lewisburg Gets a Boost from Davis in  28-24  Defeat
  Jeremiah Davis's rushing tear continued  on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 137+  rushing yards. He rushed for 266 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 77-yard run.
 For the season,  Davis  has run in 29 touchdowns while averaging 181.2 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 84.42  rushing yards per game.

Danville Wins 12th-Straight Thanks to  Bo Sheptock
 Danville picked up their 12th consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Bo Sheptock. Sheptock was unstoppable, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns. He has been hot , having  posted two or more  rushing touchdowns the last six times he's  played.
 Lewisburg's probably not too fond of  Sheptock given he always seems to get the better of them. When  Sheptock last faced the Green Dragons  back in November of 2023, he rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns.

Eli Butler Makes Top Five
 Rounding off our Top Five is  Eli Butler of Warrior Run. Butler rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
 For the year,  Butler  has averaged 35.4 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 6.58  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 90.85  rushing yards.
