Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Side). They were the clear victor by a 70-46 margin over the Wendell Trojans on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on five straight.

Wendell lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jett Jasper, who went 6 of 11 en route to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Swainston, who posted ten points and four steals.

West Side has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Wendell, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

West Side wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-31 loss against Declo on the 16th. As for Wendell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-37 win against Compass Charter on the 16th.
