Baseball Recap: Hoehne Takes a Loss

After flying high against Center last Saturday, Hoehne came back down to earth. Hoehne fell 6-1 to the Peyton Panthers on Friday.

Hoehne saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Antonio Cantoria, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Cantoria is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Hoehne now has a losing record of 1-2.

Hoehne wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 23-4 victory against Wiley on the 21st. As for Peyton, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Peyton Panthers duke it out with Swink Lions at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. They will need to watch out since Swink has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
