Glencoe had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 35-point drubbing they dealt Weaver on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets claimed a resounding 60-25 victory over the Bearcats. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Glencoe was led to victory by Kinlee Montgomery and Payton Gray. Montgomery went 11-for-27 en route to 25 points and five steals, while Gray shot 86% from the field to rack up 17 points and six steals. That's the most steals Montgomery has posted since back in December of 2024. Mia Talbot also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Glencoe was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Glencoe's record now sits at 4-1. As for Weaver, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glencoe will welcome Ohatchee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Yellowjackets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Weaver, they will face off against Pleasant Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
