The West Shore Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Bayside Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Shore is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
West Shore suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Melbourne, falling 55-25. That's two games in a row now that West Shore has lost by exactly 30 points.
Meanwhile, Bayside didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Satellite on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 39-35 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bayside.
Bayside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emilia Grant, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Donia Moaoui, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
West Shore has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Bayside, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.
West Shore took a serious blow against Bayside in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 62-32. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point West Shore was down 32-11.
