Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Ascension). They claimed a resounding 61-25 win over the Thibodaux Tigers. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 27 points or more this season.

The victory (which was East Ascension's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.5 points per game. As for Thibodaux, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

East Ascension will take on Glen Oaks in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th at. As for Thibodaux, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against South Lafourche at 6:00 p.m.
