Leading South Davidson to victory were Peyton Davis and Tanner Delattre. Davis scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Delattre scored 31 points along with three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Delattre has scored at least a third of South Davidson's points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Peele, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
South Davidson's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-18. As for East Davidson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.
