West Ouachita lost to Bastrop 49-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Franklin Parish and Wossman played the most contested game in 4A District 2 this week, with Franklin Parish eventually emerging with a 41-38 victory.
The Rams' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Christian Doaty threw for 391 and 2 touchdowns and Isaiah Graham had 131 yards receiving. On the ground Antwon Green contributed 59 yards. Jamari Payne helped Bastrop's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 127 yards.
He went 19-25 with 0 interceptions.
Graham was the best receiver in the league this week as Bastrop topped the Chiefs. Graham tallied 8 receptions for 131 yards. Payne helped Bastrop's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 127 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Thomas Bachman's team's Doaty and Payne have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Doaty has thrown for 2,588 yards this season, while Payne has 76 catches for 1,230 yards. Ladarrius Thomas from the Wildcats leads the league in rushing with 813 yards.
At the moment, the Patriots are in second, while Wossman is in third.
The Rams led 4A District 2 in scoring this week by notching 49 points on West Ouachita. Doaty ran for 14 yards in the win.
