Calvario was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Jefferson got a  massive  performance out of  Alex Castillo, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Alyssa Munoz, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Brackenridge, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with that  defeat, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will take on Sam Houston at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. Jefferson is facing Sam Houston at the right time seeing as Sam Houston is stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak. As for Brackenridge, they will be playing at home against Alamo Heights at 7:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
