Auburn Mountainview's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sebastian Arius, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. Arius is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Caleb Bowden was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Auburn Mountainview now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kentlake, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Auburn Mountainview will head out on the road to face off against Auburn Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Auburn Riverside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Auburn Mountainview likes a good challenge. As for Kentlake, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. Auburn is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
