Paisley Mann was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makenzie Elliott, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Karly Jenkins was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Buckingham brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over Cumberland on Wednesday. Considering the Knights' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Appomattox County's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Buckingham, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
