The South Gate Rams will head out to take on the South East Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
South Gate is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 56-21 win over Huntington Park. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rams have posted against the Spartans since October 26, 2018.

Michael Gonzalez
| 10/23/25 vs Huntington Park | 131 |
| 09/25/25 @ Legacy | 71 |
| 11/15/24 vs Wilson | 60 |
| 11/22/24 vs Arleta | 53 |
| 10/17/25 vs Garfield | 39 |
Michael Gonzalez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 305 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 131 yards and one TD on only 12 carries. Those 131 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Nicholas Fonseca got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
South Gate didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Johnny Williams and Fonseca. Fonseca's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 120 receiving yards. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when South East challenged Legacy on Thursday. The Jaguars secured a 14-10 W over the Tigers. The win was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
South Gate better keep an eye on Eric Wright. He was instrumental in South East's win, rushing for 101 yards and one score on only 12 carries. Wright was even better on defense, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
South East was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 238 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 69.2 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 167.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to South East's defense and their five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece. They got some further help from Jayden Garcia: he picked up a sack and made 15 total tackles.
South Gate's record is now 6-3. As for South East, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7.
South Gate came up short against South East in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 22-10. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
