The Westside Rams will venture away from home to take on the Clover Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Westside will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Westside barely beat Laurens the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams blew past the Raiders 11-1 last Friday. Considering the Rams have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Colter Crosby tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three contests.
At the plate, Jacob Holmes was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Caleb Christian also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Clover, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Northwestern on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Christian Soder looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Briggs Lessmeister, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Clover is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Westside, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
