The Barnwell Warhorses lost against the Silver Bluff Bulldogs last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The matchup between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Barnwell falling 58-39.
Barnwell lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cedric Hart, who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hart has scored all season. Jayden Pickney was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Barnwell has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Silver Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barnwell will take on Ridgeland-Hardeeville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver Bluff won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Batesburg-Leesville at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Batesburg-Leesville is ranked 189th, while Silver Bluff is ranked 213th).
