While Prairie Ridge put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Crystal Lake Central. The Wolves put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 8-0 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Prairie Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Crystal Lake Central, they dropped their record down to 9-17-1 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Prairie Ridge will venture away from home to square off against Niles North at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Crystal Lake Central, they will square off against Sycamore at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
