Softball Recap: Franklin Wins Going Away Against Patapsco

Franklin's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Patapsco Patriots with a sharp 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Mia Cleveland was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lanee Houser, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

The win snapped Franklin's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record. As for Patapsco, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Franklin has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against Hereford on the 5th. Patapsco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
