Ellis Alexander posted a new career-high in stolen bases on Thursday. He scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Looking ahead, Alexander and Jones have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Chicago Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
