Bowie is 1-9 against the Eagles since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bowie Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Detroit Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Bowie will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
A well-balanced attack led Bowie over the Cardinals in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bowie blew the Cardinals out of the water with a 49-20 final score. Bowie pushed the score to 37-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals had little chance of recovering from.
Meanwhile, Detroit was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 44-38 to the Tigers. Detroit has not had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Bowie has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. As for Detroit, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-22.
