After flying high against Winston-Salem Prep last Friday, Community School of Davidson came back down to earth. The Community School of Davidson Spartans were beaten by the Corvian Community Cardinals 47-7 on Friday. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Johnson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. Noah Best got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Community School of Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Corvian Community, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community School of Davidson and Christ the King are set to duel on Friday. As for Corvian Community, they will square off against Pine Lake Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corvian Community is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
