Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South Beloit, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past Ashton-Franklin Center 14-6 on Monday. While the Sobos didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Cesar Alfaro was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Trudane Peterson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Alden-Hebron has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like South Beloit struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
