The Uintah Utes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Timpanogos Timberwolves at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Uintah focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Uintah didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Tigers, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win.
Uintah had a senior duo take command as Mackenzie White scored 16 points along with three steals and Zoey Glenn scored five points along with 11 rebounds. White hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Emily Bake, who scored two points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Timpanogos' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Payson, falling 70-29.
Uintah's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Timpanogos, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
Uintah was able to grind out a solid victory over the Timberwolves in their previous meeting back in January, winning 57-44. Will Uintah repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
