After flying high against Parsons Christian Academy  last Tuesday, Harvest Community came back down to earth. The Harvest Community Warriors fell victim to a  tough 18-3 loss at the hands of the Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders  on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Harvest Community of the  4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March of 2017.
 Harvest Community saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bryson Hebert, who  went 1-for-2 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run.
 On Old Plank Christian Academy's side,  Kaden Treitinger made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits. Treitinger has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Treitinger was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Noah Jacobs was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with seven  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Mark Reid, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Harvest Community's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-6. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record  this season.
 Harvest Community will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Duval Charter at 6:00  p.m. Duval Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.1  runs per game this season. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, they will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Westside at 6:00  p.m. Old Plank Christian Academy is facing Westside at the right time seeing as Westside is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak.
