The Fuqua Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, falling 55-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fuqua has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Fuqua still got an impressive performance from Mason Pleasants, who scored six points.
Fuqua's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fuqua will take on Banner Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Banner Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Fuqua likes a good challenge. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Southampton Academy at 7:00 p.m. Southampton Academy and Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
