The Buffalo Bison will head out on the road to take on the Tolsia Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Buffalo is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Buffalo beat the The Dots 44-40.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buffalo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Boggess, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Peyton Sheridan, who scored eight points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Tolsia ended up a good deal behind the Panthers on Wednesday and lost 52-37. Tolsia has struggled against the Panthers recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Buffalo's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Tolsia, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Buffalo didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Rebels when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 43-37 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buffalo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
