Barren County have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Clinton County at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Clinton County will be strutting in after a win while Barren County will be stumbling in from a defeat.
We expected Barren County to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Taylor County two weeks ago, and they did. Barren County found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 15-43 punch to the gut against Taylor County.
Meanwhile, Clinton County put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Berea 38-0.the rankings were on Clinton County's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result
Barren County's loss took them down to 2-5 while Clinton County's victory pulled them up to 6-1. Clinton County have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 41.71 points per game. We'll see if Barren County can find some way to disarm them.
