After losing to Longview the last time they met, Royse City decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs blew past the Lobos 3-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Royse City walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-9, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Longview had strong showings from My'Niah Gouldsby, who had eight digs and two aces, and Aubrey Orban, who had eight assists and four digs.

Royse City's win bumped their record up to 23-15. As for Longview, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 21-12.

Royse City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Tyler Legacy on the 10th. As for Longview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Forney on the 10th.
