West Las Vegas has won ten straight games at home, while Silver has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Dons will host the Slvr Ftg Colts at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
If West Las Vegas beats Silver with 11 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Everything went the Dons' way against Santa Fe Indian on Tuesday as they made off with an 11-4 win.

Malie Satete made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, Annabelle Ulibarri was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. Hayley Cocoa was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
West Las Vegas kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Silver got the win against Deming on Thursday by a conclusive 18-3.
Like West Las Vegas, Silver also got a great game from a two-way player: Jaelynn Cardenas. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cardenas was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Vanessa Lucero, who fired off three home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kenia Nieto, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Silver's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for West Las Vegas, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.
