Will Grier and Jordan Brown provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Victory Christian Center. The longest such play in NCISAA Freelance this season, the connection resulted in 91 yards.
Grier threw for 514 yards and seven touchdowns. He went 26-34 with zero interceptions.
Lance Edwards was the best wideout in the league this week as Rabun Gap-Nacoochee lost to Rosman. Edwards racked up 12 receptions for 222 yards. Myles Marshall helped Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's passing attack out by catching five balls for 63 yards.
Gerrio Rahming was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 220 yards on 20 carries as the Eagles fell to the Tigers. Teammate Trey Weldon added to the ground attack by rushing for 18 yards.
Davidson Day's Grier and Aaron Seward have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading NCISAA Freelance in both passing and receiving yards. Grier has thrown for 4036 yards this season, while Seward, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 53 catches for 1424 yards. Rahming from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee leads the league in rushing with 1565 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Kings take on Trinity Christian. At the moment, Victory Christian Center is in second, while the Crusaders are in sixth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Dee Brown's team takes on Trinity Christian. The Kings have allowed 162 points this season, while Chuck Webster's team has given up 195. Victory Christian Center allowed 56 points last week as it fell to Davidson Day.
Chad Grier's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Kings. Grier ran for 13 yards in the win.
