Mt. Carmel has gone 8-2 against Westview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Sundevils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Mt. Carmel 3.8, Westview 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
While Mt. Carmel's win against Ramona wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sundevils had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 7-6. The victory was nothing new for the Sundevils as they're now sitting on three straight.
Sirena Castro looked comfortable as she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Mt. Carmel came out on top in a nail-biter against Westview when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Sundevils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
