The Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs will head out to challenge the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Mountain View Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
On Friday, Mountain View Christian Academy got the win against Tabernacle Christian by a conclusive 16-5. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Jaxon Spencer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Spencer was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games he's played.
In other batting news, Mountain View Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Jaydon Owens, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Owens has posted since back in May of 2025. Joshua Owens was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.
Mountain View Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Community Christian Academy hit Pinnacle Classical Academy with a six-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 10-9.
Like Mountain View Christian Academy, Pinnacle Classical Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Jake McNeilly. On the mound, McNeilly struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Keegan McIntyre struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off four hits. McNeilly also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Pinnacle Classical Academy is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-6 otherwise. At bat, McNeilly went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while McIntyre went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Jackson Houser was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Kistler, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
Mountain View Christian Academy's record is now 10-2. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
Mountain View Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 12-3 loss they got from Pinnacle Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
