Legacy Academy has won six straight games at home, while Oak Grove Classical Academy has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. Legacy Academy will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Menaul, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Legacy Academy escaped with a win on Tuesday against Menaul by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryant Scales, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Scales' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Baca, who posted 13 points along with six steals and five assists.
Legacy Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Oak Grove Classical Academy blew past Monte Del Sol Charter, posting a 64-13 win. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Oak Grove Classical Academy had a senior duo take command as Brody Prochnow had 23 points and Isaac Rush put up 21 points. That's the most points Prochnow has posted since back in December of 2024. Ivan Moore was another key player, putting up nine points.
Legacy Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
