If The Brazos Cougars were riding high off their 62-0 takedown of the Danbury Panthers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Brazos fell 20-10 to Boling on Friday. Brazos has struggled against Boling recently, as their match on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Javien Dickerson rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. Layton Kloesel was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards.
Brazos has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Boling, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Brazos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Boling will face off against Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lexington is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
