Berryhill is 9-1 against Catoosa since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Chiefs will face off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Berryhill's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Catoosa's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Berryhill barely beat Cleveland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chiefs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 14-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Chiefs have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Catoosa ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Eufaula 15-14. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Indians' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The team relied heavily on Brogan O'Neal, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. He is becoming a predictor of Catoosa's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 7-12 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Reid McConnell, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Catoosa kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory made it two in a row for Berryhill and bumps their season record up to 19-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Catoosa, they moved to 11-12 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Berryhill took their win against Catoosa in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 13-5 score. Will the Chiefs repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
