Basketball Recap: CHAAMP Homeschool Piles Up the Points Against Fouke

CHAAMP HomeSchool won against Avery on Thursday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks claimed a resounding 55-23 win over the Fouke Panthers. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 28 points or more this season.

CHAAMP HomeSchool was led to victory by Joe Hefner and David Harrison. Hefner went 7 of 10 on his way to 18 points and three steals, while Harrison dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. Harrison is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Wigley, who posted seven points and four steals.

The victory was the fourth in a row for CHAAMP HomeSchool, bringing their record for this year to 12-4. As for Fouke, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

CHAAMP HomeSchool will challenge Ore City at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fouke, they will take on Cooper at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
