Even though the Juarez Eagles scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, Chicago Tech still came out on top. Chicago Tech enjoyed a cozy 69-55 victory over Juarez. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chicago Tech.
Chicago Tech had a senior duo take command as Jonathan Harris scored 23 points and Micquel Triplett scored 19 points. The game was Harris' eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaquan Parker, who scored nine points.
Chicago Tech is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Juarez, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicago Tech will face off against Ellison at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ellison presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chicago Tech in Illinois (Ellison is ranked 186th, while Chicago Tech is ranked 388th). Juarez won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Leyden at 3:00 p.m. on December 16th.
