The Kelton Lions lost against the Follett Panthers on January 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Kelton took a serious blow against Follett, falling 38-11. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kelton has scored all season.
Follett's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reyna Rosales, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kambri Braley, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Kelton has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Follett, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Fort Elliott the next time they take the court. Kelton will head out to face Fort Elliott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Follett will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
