The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ravenna in their matchups with Cloverleaf: they've now lost eight in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Emma Hibler, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Evie Barth, who scored 13 points along with 6 steals.
Ravenna's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cloverleaf, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ravenna will take on Streetsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Streetsboro focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday. As for Cloverleaf, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Field at 7:00 p.m. Field has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
