Enochs has gone a perfect 10-0 against Pitman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will welcome the Pride at 4:00 p.m. Enochs is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
Enochs is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Modesto a 14-0 shutout on Tuesday. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.
Enochs got a great performance from Kaylee Ruiz as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Ruiz has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lillian Camarena was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Marian Verdugo, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Enochs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pitman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past Turlock 9-8.
The team relied heavily on Emma Ventura, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivy Butler, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
The victory got Pitman back to even at 5-5. As for Enochs, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Pitman's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Enochs has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Pitman, though, as they've been averaging 8.9 hits. Given Enochs' sizable advantage in that area, the Pride will need to find a way to close that gap.
Enochs skirted past Pitman 4-3 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pride turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
