Basketball Game Preview: Morgan Trojans vs. Ben Lomond Scots

Morgan has gone 10-0 against Ben Lomond recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Morgan Trojans will be playing at home against the Ben Lomond Scots at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Morgan's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Ben Lomond has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Morgan will head into Thursday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 40) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past South Summit 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since December 6, 2024.

Eva Birkeland continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 of 19 on her way to 24 points. The matchup was her 11th in a row with at least ten points. Bella Nelson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Ben Lomond played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 66-17 loss at the hands of Grantsville. The Scots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-10.
