The Archbishop Williams Bishops have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Milford Scarlet Hawks at 2:00 p.m. on February 11th.
Last Monday, Archbishop Williams lost to Westwood at home by a decisive 66-50 margin. While losing is never fun, Archbishop Williams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Westwood is ranked 13th).
Meanwhile, even though King Philip Regional scored an imposing 65 points on Thursday, Milford still came out on top. Milford walked away with a 78-65 victory over King Philip Regional. The win made it back-to-back wins for Milford.
Milford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andrew Rivera led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Rivera is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Farrell, who scored 22 points.
Archbishop Williams' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Milford, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
