If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for North Kansas City. They will take on Truman at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. North Kansas City have yet to lose; Truman, on the other hand, are desperate for their first victory.
Last Friday, North Kansas City put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Belton with a sharp 63-42 win. With North Kansas City ahead 35-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Truman have to be hurting after a devastating 20-52 loss at the hands of Chrisman. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as Chrisman enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
The last time the two teams met, North Kansas City and Truman were almost perfectly matched up the last time the two teams met, but North Kansas City suffered an agonizing 26-27 defeat. The defeat knocked North Kansas City out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Truman with a vengeful fire.
