Basketball Recap: Weleetka Piles Up the Points Against Arkoma

Weleetka came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Arkoma Mustangs, posting a 59-25 win. The Outlaws have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 34 points or more this season.

Weleetka pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points per game. As for Arkoma, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weleetka will venture away from home to challenge Riverfield Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverfield Country Day is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.
