The Brook Hill Guard lost to the Vanguard College Prep Vikings back in January of 2023, but the Brook Hill Guard didn't allow the Vanguard College Prep Vikings the same satisfaction on Friday. Brook Hill walked away with a 48-38 victory over Vanguard College Prep.
Brook Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brenna Hill out in front who scored 17 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hill has scored at least a third of Brook Hill's points. Another player making a difference was Mylee Booth, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Brook Hill has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Vanguard College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing McKinney Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Brook Hill will host McKinney Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Vanguard College Prep will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
